ProgrammeThe goal of management is to achieve organizational objectives through the effective utilization of material resources and coordination of people. The Business and Management program provides students with the conceptual knowledge, technical background and people skills to advance their career objectives. An important focus of management is effective decision-making. The Business and Management program helps students identify the expectations, constraints and available choices when making decisions in managerial positions. In today’s global economy, students must cope with change and develop a better understanding of other cultures. The diversity of the student body at Webster Vienna and the professional background of the international faculty provide the ideal environment to develop the skills to manage complex change. The master of science (M.S.) in finance is designed to provide a more quantitative and comprehensive examination of the finance field. Students will advance through corporate finance, investments, and market instruments and institutions. Additionally, students will experience significant exposure to supporting coursework in the closely related fields of accounting and economics. A capstone experience will tie together the major finance topics and expose students to literature, and the analysis thereof, pertinent to the field. After a comprehensive examination of the field, students may choose their electives to satisfy their specific career goals. Dr. Arthur Hirsh Director |
