Programme

Our MSc in Project Management is designed to meet the standards laid out by globally recognised governing bodies. You will therefore gain an understanding of all fundamental project management disciplines and phases, and how to apply them in widely differing working environments.

You will complete your qualification with an original dissertation. You should graduate with the knowledge and expertise necessary to carry out project management design, planning, execution and delivery on time and on budget. Moreover, you will have a thorough grounding in all current project methodologies. This will open up flexible career structures that transcend sectors and regions, enabling you to practice effective project management in all professional environments.

You can also personalise your master-programme by choosing from a wide variety of electives or by following a pre-defined Specialisation Track in:

Construction & Infrastructure Specialisation

Target audience

The MSc in Project Management provides the skills necessary to become an executive Project Manager, to lead and deliver advanced and effective project management, along with a valuable academic qualification. It does so at a time when companies and organisations are increasingly focused on the short- and long-term benefits of high quality project management.

Upon completion of the course you will be in an excellent position to exploit a full range of pan-regional and multi-sectoral opportunities in project management.

Emphases/Curriculum

Programme Structure:
The programme comprises eight modules – six compulsory and two elective – culminating in a dissertation. Each module lasts eight weeks. You take one module at a time in order to study a specific subject in-depth without distractions.

Admission/Entrance requirements

Admission Requirements: Bachelors degree equivalent to UK honours degree 2.1 level in management, engineering, science or related disciplines. English equivalent to minimum of IELTS test level 6.5 overall, TOEFL 570 paper based test / 88 Internet based test / TEEP 6.5. 2 - 4 years working experience related to the degree program (practical background knowledge of business). Minimum age for online master students: 23 years

Modules include Introduction to Project Management, Economics of Oil, Gas and Energy, and Managing Energy Sources.
"Construction & Infrastructure Specialisation":
Our MSc in Project Management with a specialised track in Construction and Infrastructure provides you with a refined skill-set to lead and manage large contemporary construction and public complex infrastructure development projects. Project management implications associated with the technical, organisational, financial, and governmental aspects of large projects and the changing external context is also explored in this track. Modules include Organisation and Behavioural Management, Project Management Application: Construction and Integrated Infrastructure Management.
